It is up to you the buyer to read and understand my sales policy if you choose not to the policy is still enforced.
Please note that if you are under the age of 18 I will need verification from your parents if not then do not inquire about my rabbits. I will not sell to someone under the age of 18 without your parent getting in touch with me. Please if you are wanting one just because they are cute or for a Holliday gift do not inquire. I only sell to someone really wanting one with the understanding of care & upkeep with a rabbit. I nomally do not sell them for the soul purpose as pets. The ones sold as pets are because they have DQ's or faults that make them unshowable and not too be used for breeding purposes. Any rabbit that is not sold by me personally and was sold by someone else without a pedigree and they want a pedigree I will have to inspect the rabbit personally to offer any pedigree and most cases if they were sold without a pedigree that means they have DQ's for being show and breeding quality and you will not recieve a pedigree.
Holding Policy This policy applies to rabbits under the age of 8 weeks . I require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to hold every rabbit you want to purchase this only applies to babies that are not ready to leave until a specific date. . A rabbit will not be considered on hold until a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is received. . I must receive a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit within a week of inquiry or the rabbit will be re-listed for sale. . Rabbits can be held for you for a maximum of (14) days. Any rabbit not picked up in fourteen (14) days will be re-listed as for sale, and your NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be forfeited. . Due to limited cage space, there will be a $5 per rabbit per day fee for any rabbit held longer than 1 week (7 days) past the date a pick up was scheduled. . Full payment will be due at the time of pickup. . Held rabbits are still considered property of The Mad Hatter's Rabbitry until they have been paid for in full. . I will not release any rabbit and pedigree until I have received full payment. . PENDING: A inquiry has been made on this rabbit and I am awaiting for deposit to be made. . ON HOLD:A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit has been made on this particular rabbit. . SOLD: A rabbit has been picked up and paid for in full. I will keep sold rabbits posted for one (1) week. . If a rabbit is marked PENDING or ON HOLD, still inquire about that said rabbit. . If a rabbit dies that you have a deposit on, I will give a replacement of equal value when one becomes available. There are no exceptions. .We will make every effort to properly sex the rabbits we sell,But a breeder can sometimes make a mistake on the sex of a young rabbit, the buyers are responsible for checking to see if sexing is correct.
Sales Policy . All rabbits sold by The Mad Hatter's Rabbitry come with a pedigree, Unless there is not one available or said otherwise. (Do Not alter or change my prefix (MHR'S) in front of the name and any info on the pedigree or the tattoo #) Will come with a bag of transitional food and a care sheet for first time rabbit owners. . I do not guarantee any rabbit, sold as a show quality rabbit, showing success. . I do not guarantee any rabbit, sold as breeding quality , a successful breeding career. I will state if the rabbit is a proven breeder or not meaning that the doe has kindled and raised a litter successfully up to weaning age. Health Policy I have a (7) day health guarantee on every rabbit that I sell. This guarantee is effective once you pick the rabbit up. . I require you contact me If your rabbit dies or becomes sick within the first (7) days you receive it, you must contact me and PROVE that the rabbit is dead or sick. This may be proved by physically bringing the rabbit to me or sending me a picture of the dead/sick rabbit via e-mail. If sending a picture via e-mail, you must show two pictures of the rabbit. If the rabbit is dead: 1) A picture of the entire body of the dead rabbit. 2) A picture of the ear with the ear number of the dead rabbit. I must be able to see the ear number. or A written statement from a licensed vet stating that the rabbit was sick before you recieved it. . Once you have proved that your rabbit is dead/sick, I will offer you a replacement rabbit of equal value only when one becomes available. There are absolutely no exceptions. . This Health Policy can only be enforced by you, the buyer, if your rabbit unexpectedly dies or gets sick. If you knowingly mistreated, malnourished, or put the rabbit under extreme stress, then this policy is void for you. I will ask you questions about the lifestyle of the rabbit to make sure the rabbit did not die/get sick because of you. .If you can no longer keep your rabbit I urge u to bring the rabbit back instead of turning it loose or taking it to the shelter if you decide to bring the rabbit back all paper work that belongs to that rabbit such as pedigree and show winnings must be provided. .Any rabbit that is brought back because u no longer want it or unable to care for will not receive a refund for that rabbit. Any rabbit sold that is bred or requested bred prior to sale will be noted and recorded with the date and to the buck of my choosing or yours and will come with a breeding certificate stating when the doe was bred and to which buck was chosen along with a kindling date. However breedings are not guaranteed to take and stress factors can cause a doe to absorb or abort her kits at anytime during transport or new surroundings.
Sales Policy for Adult Rabbits All adult rabbits that are for sale are on a hold policy as stated above once you inquire about, placed a deposit and a date has been set up to get the rabbit it must be picked up on that date there will be a$5 a day charge for (2) weeks unless other arrangements have been made. If the rabbit is not picked up by then the rabbit will be placed back up for sale.
We reserve the right to cancel a sale at any time, for any reason this is for all policies. We will make deliveries or meet half way within a reasonable distance. But it will cost extra unless it's to a show that I am attending and price will depend on the distance. I do not ship rabbits.
